Elva Onita Mitchell (Rising)
1939 - 2025
Elva Onita Mitchell, age 86, of Kernersville N.C., passed away on June 16, 2025.
She was born in Dillon, South Carolina, to Howard and Elva Rising on February 5, 1939. She was a wonderful woman that loved to spend time with her family. She was a mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt, and sister. She attended Northwoods Baptist Church for many years.
She had three sisters, Sylvia Naylor (proceeds her in death), Leonice Lipscomb and Allene Tschamler. Three children, Curtis Mitchell, Tina Pinyan and Norman Mitchell. She had five grandchildren, Justin Lineberry, Daniel Lineberry, Ashley Mitchell, Haley Mitchell and Erin Steele. She had four great grandchildren, Aiden Lineberry, Delilah Lineberry, Ella Steele and Gohan.
Her funeral service will be held at Liberty Baptist Church at 1548 Old Hollow Road, Winston-Salem NC 27105 at 12:00 on June 28th, 2025.
Donations can be sent to Hospice or Liberty Baptist Church in her honor.
