Donald Eric Pegg
1960 - 2026
Donald Eric Pegg passed away on Wednesday, February 11, 2026, at Beacon Place, Greensboro NC. He was born to the late Elmer and Catherine Mills Pegg on March 4, 1960. In addition to his parents, Donald was preceded in death by his beloved dog, Ginger.
Donald is survived by brothers Charles (Eddie) Pegg (Sylvia), Stephen Pegg, Mark Pegg, and Rankin Pegg (Patty) and one sister, Deborah Lucas. Ten nieces and nephews: Luke and Lindsay Pegg, Courtney Lisk, Whitney Oldham, Jordan Johnson, Erin Lachey, Heather McLamb, Hunter Pegg, Derrek and Heath Price. Two special fur babies: Twirly and Tiger.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that memorial donations be made to Animal Rescue group of choice.
Donald was an avid Carolina fan and lover of all animals.

Special thanks to all the friends and family who visited Donald at his residence and at Beacon Place. Your visits, gifts of food, and acts of kindness were greatly appreciated.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Central Baptist Church, Highway 68, Oak Ridge on February 28, 2026, at 2P. The family will receive guests from 1P-1:45P prior to the service at the church.
Donnie was one of the kindest person you could ever meet i don’t think I’ve ever heard him raise his voice in anger. He was always fun to be around and would willingly help anyone in need. We had alot of good times together and he will be missed. RIP.
Donnie and I met through Taekwondo. He was one of the nicest guys and was always just a happy person. I’m glad to know he was saved, I’ll see him again one day. RIP Donnie and see you on the other side.
Donnie was one of a kind and it did not matter where you saw him or what he was doing, he always had a smile on his face. Knowing him since I was a very young child, this is really hard. Hugs and prayers to all of his family during this difficult time.
