1953 - 2025
Celebrating the life of Deborah Louise Hester Bowling. Deborah also referred to as Debbie, Deb, Shag, Mom, Mawmaw, and sometimes The Real Mawmaw crossed the river to join family members on the other side September 20, 2025. She was born the daughter of Earl Columbus Hester and Mary Louise Freeman. Throughout Debbie’s life she was an employee of Adams Millis, Hooker Furniture, and Bradford Village in Kernersville, she also worked for the Forsyth County School System in the cafeteria at Walkertown. Debbie’s most proud accomplishment was her two boys, four grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Each one she gave special names and when spoken always put a smile on her face. Debbie never met anyone she couldn’t relate to or build a friendship. A proud and modest woman, she believed and lived by three simple things: God, Family, and a good cup of coffee. Debbie leaves behind a family that loves and will miss her deeply. Son Dale Ray Hester & wife Cary, Son James David Bowling Jr., aka JD ,and Zoi Montclare. Four grandchildren Kaytlyn Elayne Hester Bryan and husband Austin, Avery Garret Hester and wife Jacqueline, Mckenzie Taylor Hester, and Aaron Michael Gabriel Hester. Four great grandchildren Kyndal Alice Leanord, Silas Ray Bryan, Liam Michael Bryan, and Helena Rose Hester. Sister Windie Eagle and husband Kenneth as well as a long list of extended family members. The family will receive friends at REVO Church, 5185 Sullivantown Rd in Walkertown on October 1st at 6:00PM. Visitation with the family to follow at 7:00PM.
