Danita Porter, 64, of Tobaccoville, NC, passed away peacefully at her home on February 11, 2024. Born on February 25, 1960, Danita was a loving mother, grandmother, and friend whose warmth and spirit touched the lives of all who knew her.
Danita is survived by her two sons, Christopher Rogers and his wife Melissa, who reside in Fort Worth, TX, and Joseph Biles and his wife Melissa, who live in Fredericksburg, VA. She cherished her role as a grandmother, lovingly known as “Nana” to her grandchildren, Grayson and Mackenzie. Danita’s love and guidance will remain in the hearts of her family forever.
Her legacy of kindness, love, and strength will be remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her. A celebration of her life will be held at a later date, where family and friends can come together to share memories and honor her spirit.
