Colleen Campbell Catalano
1966 - 2025
It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Colleen Campbell Catalano on April 5th, 2025 at the age of 58. Born on December 23rd, 1966 in Burlington, VT, Colleen grew up water skiing on Lake Champlain and going around various towns with her father. She was a proud Vermonter.
She found joy in camping, cooking, reading mystery novels, watching crime shows and teaching kids taekwondo. She was dedicated to her work at US Duct, her last place of employment, where she found a family in her colleagues. Her work gave her the strength to fight and not a day passed that she didn’t think of US Duct and her family there. Almost all conversations led to talk about her love of being a “Duct Guy”.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Barbara Norman Campbell, her father, John R. Campbell, and her dear sister Joy Connor.
She is survived by her husband, Ed Catalano, her daughter, Nicole Catalano, her sister, Cheri Campbell. She is also survived by her brother-in-law, Tim Connor, and her sister-in-law, Grace Lombardo (Frank), as well as her nieces and nephews, Cristin, Dawn, Olivia, Knight, and Lissome.
A loving mother, devoted wife and dear friend, Colleen touched countless lives with her generosity and unwavering strength. Her legacy will live on through the memories and love she shared with family and friends and in the hearts of countless friends who will dearly miss her.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Pancreatic Cancer Action Network in Colleen’s memory.
A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, April 26, 2025 from 2:00pm to 5:00pm at the Greensboro Regional Realtors Association, 23 Oak Branch Dr. Greensboro, NC 27407.
Amazing lady. Praying for her husband Ed and daughter Nicole 🙏🏼 Rest in Peace Colleen
Colleen will be dearly missed. I can hear her words in my head daily. She is typically yelling at me for not living life to the fullest, eating all of her food, or drinking all of her zelters.
