Poppa Bob, I will truly miss you. He was such a kind-hearted man. So welcoming and filled with pure light. I thank God for the opportunity of being around such a wonderful being. I love every conversation about Jesus that I had with him. I loved that he had his chicken coop and went out, daily, to take care of them. Such an incredible man!!

May you rest beautifully amd comfortably in the loving arms of Jesus. God bless.

Bob Faircloth was a wonderful, humble and funny man and it has always been a joy to be around him and his sweet wife Beth. My husband Richard always enjoyed playing golf with him, his son and one of our sons a number of times (even the one time Richard slipped and fell and fractured his ankle). Their friendship has meant so much to us-especially these last few years during my husband’s illness. God’s Blessings to Beth, my daughter in law, Sophie, and all their family, and may Bob forever rest in the loving arms of Jesus.

Poppa Bob. Thank you for your kind heartedness and selflessness.
I have fond memories of growing up with you and my cousins learning everything I can about life. I learned so many things from you like wilderness survival, starting a campfire, gardening, work ethic, hiking, but most of all you taught me how to be kind towards others and how to love others even when it’s hard. I remember when I would go with you to visit Patty and Helen Transou and you telling me how often you would visit them and exemplified that by showing your unwavering commitment to taking care of them. That is selflessness.
I remember, you saying how proud you and Grandma Beth were of my parents and of the two young men that they raised (me and Jonah). I remember admiring you and Grandma Beth and the quietness and peace that you both seemed to embody all throughout the time that I’ve known you and how you always seemed to use that as a tool to be emotionally, physically and mentally available for the ones that you loved.
You always seemed to have a wise words to share in every situation and those words were always shared out of love.
Poppa Bob always seemed to have joy in every situation and had a great way of sharing that with others. Even in tough times. I know that I will always miss him and I look forward to seeing him again in heaven. I am sure many other people that have known Poppa Bob feel the same way. I love you Poppa Bob.
