Beulah "Darlene" Moxley MacFadyen

Beulah “Darlene” Moxley (MacFadyen) 67, was born on September 27,1956 in Gastonia, NC. She passed away at her home on May 2,2024 due to a long-term illness. Darlene was the daughter of the late Jane Idar Laye and Millard Devon Moxley. She also precedes her stepfather Ernest Dean. Besides from her parents she is preceded in death by a brother Allon Devon Moxley of New Hampshire and a sister Beckie Luanna Moxley (Long) of Mocksville, NC. She is survived by a brother Robert Steven Johnson and a sister Sharon Dean Gardner (Lackey) both of Hiddenite NC. A son, Michael Allan MacFadyen and daughter in law Jessica Cook of Stony Point, NC. She adopted Michael from her niece the late Sharon Elissa Buckley at birth. She also had 4 grandchildren, Layla Faith MacFadyen, Dakoda Grey MacFadyen, Raven Ann MacFadyen, and Ruby Jane MacFadyen.
Darlene was a very big animal lover, especially with dogs, but loved every animal there was. She loved her family and spent a lot of time in her final years spending time with her grandchildren, which brought so much love and joy to her final years.
A celebration of life ceremony will be held on July 12, 2024 at 11 a.m. at Iredell Memorial Park in Statesville NC.
