Cynithia Lynn Windley, 77, of East Bend passed away February 19, 2026 at the SECU Hospice Care Center of Yadkinville.
Lynn was born on February 29, 1948 to the late Sam and Edith Dezern of Winston Salem. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Benjamin Windley and Grandson Austin Hobson.
Lynn is survived by: Daughter Robin Bodebheimer, Son Yul Bodenheimer (Lisa), Daughter Benjie Windley (Barry), Son Justin Windley (Candice), 9 Grandchildren and 7 Great Grandchildren, Sister Rebecca Scarbro (Benny), Family Friend Chassidy Blevins (Andy).
Lynn was born a Leap Year Baby and was featured several times in the newspaper for her special birthday. She lived to see 19 real birthdays.
Lynn was a graduate of Draughon’s Business College and started a career at Piedmont Airlines after graduating. She loved to travel with her family to many places.
After leaving Piedmont Airlines, she had several businesses including a limousine service, cleaning service, and because of Her love and passion for flowers, her pride and joy, a successful Flower Farm.
Lynn had many talents as an excellent cook and had authored a book of Famous People From North Carolina.
Lynn will be truly missed by all that knew and loved her. We Love You Mom
