George Edward “ED, George and Eddie” Hicks

George Edward “ED, George and Eddie” Hicks, 69, of ADVANCE, NC went to be with the Lord on March 20, 2024. He wore many hats in his life and maybe that is why he always bought a baseball hat wherever he traveled! He was born in Guildford County and was preceded in death by his father and mother, Edward Vance Hicks and Clara Lou Luck Hicks and his grandparents, Lucy Barnham and Robert Vance Hicks. He is also preceded in death by his first wife, Theresa Mansini Hicks. He is survived by his wife, Ramona Moore; his 4 children: Victoria Alexander (Jason) Harmony NC, Matt Moore (Cindy) Ronda NC, Alexandria Moore Winston Salem NC, and Tiana Schroeder Winston Salem NC; his brother, Michael Hicks (Diane) Kernersville, NC; his sister, Karen Sands (Tom) Clemmons NC; his grandchildren: Lilly, Ava, Nola, Carlee, Easton, Hudson and Everett; and one special GOD-daughter, Lynzi.

The family will receive visitors and would love to share memories at Hayworth-Miller Funeral Home addressed 108 E. Kinderton Way, Advance, NC on Sunday, March 24,2024 from 4pm through 6pm.
