Randall Keith Leonard

1961 - 2022

Randall Keith Leonard, 60, passed away on Wednesday, January 12, 2022, in Winston-Salem, NC. He was born on October 13, 1961 in Lexington, NC. He was a graduate of West Davidson High School in 1979. After high school, he worked for Hartman Construction Company and eventually operated his own business, Forsyth Water and Sewer. He was passionate about his family and loved his family deeply. He had a lifelong love of scuba diving and had the opportunity to scuba dive in some of the most unforgettable destinations in the world.

Randy loved helping people and was very generous with his time and financial contributions. He put others first and was always concerned about everyone else and never himself. He had a loving soul and will be sadly missed by all who knew him..

Randy is preceded in death by his stepfather, Shutt Hartman. He is survived by his mother, Judy Hege Hartman of Winston-Salem, NC; father, Larry Bruce Leonard (Jewel) of Lexington, NC; two sons, Zachary Keith Leonard of Billerica, MA, Nicholas Ryan Leonard (Amanda) of Winston-Salem, NC; four grandchildren, Alexandra Mae Leonard, Brayden Keith Leonard, Dustin Scott Head, Scarlette Maxine Leonard; siblings, Kimberly Leonard Gay (Robert), Matthew Larry Leonard and Joshua Bruce Leonard; two nephews, Trevor Robert Gay and Carter Alexander Gay and numerous uncles, aunts, cousins and friends.

Due to current COVID concerns, a private service will be held for the immediate family, followed by a celebration of life to be scheduled for a future date.
