It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Lindsey Danielle Evans, who passed away on September 6, 2026, following a brief illness. She was 44 years old.
Lindsey was a beautiful person inside and out, and the space she leaves behind in the lives of her family and friends is immeasurable.
She was fun-loving, light-hearted, and almost always had a smile on her face. Lindsey never met a stranger. She had a special way of making everyone around her feel comfortable, welcome, and as though they had known her forever. She was always accepting, non-judgmental, and genuinely cared about people from every walk of life. Her infectious laughter, beautiful smile, and big heart brought light and joy wherever she went.
Lindsey was a hairstylist, a profession that suited her perfectly because of the way she connected with people. She took pride in her work and won numerous awards for “Stylist of the Year”, “FUN , Core Value Award ” as well as “Most cuts sompleted in a Year” awards. She was loved by her co-workers as well as her clients that she served. She loved country music, Jesus, soaking up the sunshine by the pool and just enjoying the moment.
Lindsey loved making memories with the people closest to her. From childhood adventures and vacations to skiing, lake trips, and countless moments of laughter, she had a way of making memories that would last a lifetime.
She leaves behind her loving parents, Judi Evans and Dean Evans; her brother, Logan Evans; and her sister, Samantha Jones.
Lindsey was also a beloved aunt to Evan, Dawson, Nora, Noelle, and Fiona. She loved her nieces and nephews and will forever hold a special place in their hearts and memories.
Lindsey touched far more lives than she probably ever realized. The tremendous outpouring of love from family and friends following her passing is a testament to the person she was. Again and again, she is remembered for her smile, her laughter, her kindness, and the way she made people feel welcome and loved.
While our hearts are broken by this unimaginable loss, we choose to remember Lindsey by celebrating the beautiful life she lived and the joy she brought to so many people.
Her laughter will be missed.
Her smile will be missed.
Her kindness will be missed.
Her big heart will be missed.
But she will never be forgotten.
We love you, Lindsey. Save us a seat up there, and turn the country music up.

Celebration of Life
A Celebration of Life honoring Lindsey will be held on October 3, 2026, from 7:00–9:00 p.m. The Clover Club above The RailYard at 530 Raleigh Street, Bluefield, West Virginia.
Lindsey was a neighbor of mine. What a beautiful soul. This tribute depicts everything about the wonderful person she was. On her days off, in the summer months I could always count on her being at the pool “soaking” up the rays of sunshine, we would listen to music and cool off in the pool. She loved singing to a favorite tune and would chime right in. Always smiling, making me smile and laugh. To her family, she spoke so genuine of you, and loved so dearly.
… I can’t imagine the loss you all are feeling. So cherish all the smiles she gave you, and the wonderful memories left etched in your minds, to help you through this difficult days ahead.

Lindsey was my besti we called each other. She always asked. Dawn do u have any sweet tea as she loved the way I made it. To sitting on the pool steps just talking and of course laughing as well. In winter she come up after work and we do our faces together. I miss her so much and one day I’ll get those chances again. I can’t imagine the pain yal are in and all of us at Tanglewood Farms are so deeply sad. I love you Lindsey. You will be so missed gf
