Robert John Williams, Jr. of Winston Salem, NC passed away on August 26, 2026. He was born October 17, 1947, in Pinehurst, NC to Robert John Williams, Sr. and Ida Jackon. He was preceded in death by both of his parents and his brother Paul Stan Sr.
He was a former employee of Johnson Controls Battery Division of Kernersville, NC. He was a veteran and served in the Navy from 1968 to 1974. He served on Essex and the Wasp Ships.
He leaves behind his loving wife of 37 years Kathern (Kathy) Williams. Also, his sister Patricia Hansley of Welcome, NC. His 3 children Lynn Allen of Winston Salem, NC, Billy Allen (Tonya) of Summerfield, NC and Sheila Allen (Mark) of Stokesdale, NC. Also 4 grandchildren Linda Davis (Matt), Ricky Watson (Kam), Corey Watson (Ashley) and Lacey Allen as well as 7 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. Also, nephew Paul Stan Williams, Jr. (Kristen).
In accordance with his wishes, a private ceremony will be held to honor Robert’s life and legacy.
