Debra Ann Leonard, age 63 of Mocksville, NC, passed away in her home on 7/26/2026.
Debra was born on 8/25/1962 in Herkimer, NY to Edward Rose and Lilian ( Oviatte) Rose of NY.
Debra was survived by her husband Anthony ” Tony” Leonard her children Amanda Dillard (Scotty) and Jennifer Frasier (Jared), Grandchildren Blake Rummage (Hannah), Cheyenne Barnett (Kaylie), Carter Dillard, Jayden Barnett, Savannah Frasier, Brooklynn Frasier, Kiiya Frasier, Caleb Frasier, and Jordan Dillard. Great grandchildren Emery Childress, Layla Rummage and Aurora Skye Rummage (on the way), along with her sister Susan Bevins (Roy) of NY and Edward Rose Jr of NY.
Along with many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. Debra was preceded in death by her Parents Edward and Lillian along with her brother Carl Rose.
Debra leaves behind a special thank you to a very special group of honorary family, Francis “Bootsie” Boger, Amber “Nikki” Powell, Courtney Boger Matt Powell, Susan Sharp, Velvet “V” Hackett and Doug Arledge as well as Cooleemee Fire Department and Davie County EMS. The family thanks each and every one of you on Debra’s behalf for showing care, love and compassion for her throughout her lifetime and during her transition to her final resting place.
My momma was the most beautiful women inside and out she loved hard and adored all of her grand babies and great grand babies. We love you mama
Thank you for the last year and a half of friendship, coffee at the kitchen table, and for believing in me and trusting me with caring for you. I told you I had you until the end and kept my end of the deal. You taught me several things in our time together: that it was okay to hold the hand of those that were sick and scared and that compassion goes a long way in this line of work. Rest easy Deb. Love you. Til I see you again.

Dear Nana, don’t worry about us. I know you will be but you don’t need to worry. You’ve done so much for us through the years that you need your rest. Spend time with Grandma and Grandpa, we will watch over each other

There are no amount of words that can say how much of an impact you had on who I am today. This world will never be the same without you here. Thank you for keeping me in line, teaching me what respect, discipline, and stubbornness is. For showing me what resilience and strength really are.
