Guy Henry Zebron
1948 - 2026
Guy Henry Zebron, 78, of Kernersville, passed away on May 31, 2026, at Forsyth Medical Center surrounded by his family.
He was born on March 31, 1948, in Chicago, Illinois to the late Henry and Lillian Zebron. After graduating high school, Guy joined the U.S. Marine Corps, which he proudly served during the Vietnam War. He retired from Federal Home Loan Mortgage Company in 1987.
Guy was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He spent most of his life fighting chronic illness, but did so with unwavering faith, determination, and perseverance, without bitterness or questioning why.
He will be remembered for his sense of humor, love for his family, pets, old movies, chocolate, Michael Connelly novels, and the U.S. Marine Corps.
Guy was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Lillian Zebron, and one brother, Roy.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife Kay, son Nathan Zebron (Julie), daughters Melanie (Casey), Lisa Thompson (Jimmy), grandchildren Zachary Thompson (Brooke), Emilee Thompson, Macie Zebron, Ryan Zebron, Noah Zebron, and great grandson Maverick Thompson.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, June 17th at 11am, Salisbury National Cemetery, 501 Statesville Blvd., Salisbury, NC.
