My dearest Sister, I know you are listening. I miss your voice, your advice and our talks about everything and nothing at all. I realize how incredibly blessed I am to have had you as my Sister. You always knew how to pick me up whenever I was down. You taught me how to be brave, how to live unconditionally and how to find light even on the darkest days. You had a way of making even the smallest moments special with warmth and your infectious laughter I will never forget. I will carry your spirit with me in every step I take. I love you and I miss you more than words can say

I am very grateful for the time I had with Shirley as her Sister-in-law.
I cherish our good LONG telephone conversations.
To me, her happiest times was when she cooked and got the Family together. She loved seeing us enjoying her good home cooking.
Her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ was very evident in her life. She Loved her “Darby” Church and the Mennonite Church Body and looked so forward to Preaching, Revivals, and Special Services.
    We will miss Shirley.
My Prayer is that the Lord will comfort Roger, Carmen, Roger Elliott, Ivy, and give them His Peace.
    We Love You Dearly,
    Mack and B

The delicious home-cooked meals, surrounded by joy and her laughter will surely be missed!! May God’s peace surround us, and may we find strength in knowing she is resting safely in His arms. Aunt Shirley,

I’ll miss you always and I love you. I have fond memories of you when I was a little girl. You were quiet with such a loving, gentle energy. I will never forget when you had a Yo Gabba Gabba cake made for Chloe (my baby girl) on her 2nd birthday. It made her day so special! That’s how thoughtful and generous you are. You’ll forever be in my heart!

    Your niece,

    Aliyah ❤️❤️

Roger and Shirley became dear friends of my parents, Don and Joyce Martens after a group from Oklahoma came to Darby to help build the church. My parents have remained in contact and have visited several times over the years. There was a deep love for each other. There will be a joyous reunion in heaven.
Our prayers are with your family!
