Brian Charles Burdge, age 41, of Winston-Salem, passed away on April 17, 2026.
Born on October 30, 1984, in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, Brian was the son of Joyce Jones Tilley and Clayton Charles Burdge. He was a devoted husband, stepfather, son, brother, uncle, and friend, and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
He is survived by his wife, Amanda Burdge; his stepchildren, Summer Tuttle and Dylan Tuttle; his mother, Joyce Tilley (Danny); his father, Clay Burdge (Sharon); his sister and nephew, Ashley Webb (Mike), and Ashton Webb; his aunts, Jo Jones and Virgina Sellinger; as well as his best friend, Glenn Ball III (Lauren). He was preceded in death by his grandparents Joe and Geraldine Jones.
Brian worked as a facility specialist for SouthernCarlson and a firearm sales associate at Sportsman’s Warehouse. He was known for his strong work ethic and his willingness to always lend a helping hand. He never met a stranger and had a natural ability to make others feel welcome.
In his free time, Brian enjoyed target shooting, spending time with family and friends, playing video games, and participating in HAM radio. He especially valued the connections he made through his hobbies and the time he spent with those he loved.
A celebration of life will be held on May 2, 2026, at 2:00 PM at Edgewood Baptist Church, 4067 Reidsville Rd, Winston-Salem, NC 27101.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Central and Western North Carolina in memory of Maxx Ball.
Brian will be remembered for his generosity, his sense of humor, and his remarkable how-to knowledge, always ready with an answer or a helping hand when it was needed most.
