Brandon Lowstetter

1991 - 2026

Brandon Lowstetter, 34, passed away on Monday, April 6th, 2026. He was born on August 25, 1991, in Winston-Salem, North Carolina to Jean Saintsing Lowstetter and Gary Edson Lowstetter.

Brandon was preceded in death by his loving parents, Jean and Gary Lowstetter; grandparents, Olin and Myrtle Saintsing, Fred and Evelyn Lowstetter; and his uncle, Jim Lowstetter. He is survived by his aunt, Anne Saintsing Amos; cousins, Charlie Amos and Ben Amos (Ashley); aunt, Pam Lowstetter; cousins, Michael Lowstetter and Jamie Lowstetter. Close family friends include Dan and Marilyn Stempkowski, Danny Stempkowski, Kelly Duffy, Mark and Diane Wilson, Whitney and Devon Larking, William Wilson and a multitude of treasured friends and neighbors.

Brandon graduated from Mt. Tabor High School and received his B.S. in Criminal Justice from Wingate University. Brandon was a caring and loving son. He was a thoughtful companion and devoted caregiver in his Dad’s final years, fulfilling all the necessary tasks needed and more. As a child, Brandon loved playing roller hockey and lacrosse. As an adult, he enjoyed working out at the gym, going to the shooting range and watching NASCAR. Brandon had a passion for animals. His golden retrievers, Holly and Amber, and more recently, his rescue german shepherd, Bella, brought him many hours of enjoyment. He was a loving and generous friend and neighbor, always willing to help anyone in need. His friendly smiles and chats while walking his dogs will be sorely missed. He loved to help others and frequently volunteered his contributions and services, most recently to the “Make a Wish Foundation.” Brandon had an unwavering faith in Jesus Christ. As a child, he attended Midway UMC with his parents, and later, Mount Tabor UMC. There he was a member of the Modern Disciples Sunday School Class and the new “Band of Brothers 2” small group.

A graveside service will be held at Midway Church (9795 Old U.S. Hwy 52, Lexington, NC 27295) on Saturday, April 18, 2026 at 11:00 AM, with Dr. Mary Key officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Midway Church Choir Fund (address above), Mt. Tabor United Methodist Church (3543 Robinhood Rd., Winston-Salem, NC 27106); to the Forsyth Humane Society (4881 Country Club Rd., Winston-Salem, NC 27104); ;or to The Make a Wish Foundation, (860 W. Fifth St., Winston-Salem, NC 27101).

    Brandon,

    You were one of the kindest people I met in school. I remember meeting you for the first time in the 3rd grade, Mrs Helpers class, we faced off in the little flash card math questions. From there you were always staying in touch with me, and checking in on me. You were one of the few friends I had from elementary school that I stayed close with in High school. You’ll be forever missed.
