James Lee Lawson
1960 - 2026
James Lee Lawson, 65, gained his wings on January 2, 2026. He was the son of the late Homer and Paula Lawson of Loudoun, Virginia.
James was a Heavy-Duty Machine Operator as well as a Dispatcher for the Classic Cab of Winston-Salem.
He is survived by his lovely wife, Sarah Lawson, of the home in Winston-Salem; brother, Mike Lawson, of Winchester, VA; son, Jimbo Dickerson; daughter, Kristina Ayers and several grandchildren.
James passed in the presence of his lovely wife, Sarah, and dear friend, Brenda Black.
James was a true friend he would tell you what was on his mind an had no filter he will be grateful missed
James was and will always be the love of my life. I was blessed to be his wife for the 13 of the 16 years we were together. He was my best friend and I will miss him greatly!
