Louise East Mabe

Louise East Mabe, beloved wife, mother, MawMaw, sister, and friend, was born on November 23, 1943, and passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by her children.

She was preceded in death by her parents; the love of her life, Wayne East, devoted husband and father of her children; and her daughter-in-law, Lorraine. Louise leaves behind her three children, Bridgett (Joey), Rusty, and Lori (Joe). She was the proud MawMaw to five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren, all of whom she adored deeply.

Louise was the eldest of seven children. She was preceded in death by her brothers Emmitt, Larry, Lucky, and David, and is survived by her sisters Anne (Billy) and Gail. She also leaves behind her beloved caregivers, Cherie and Shannah, whose compassion and care meant so much to her and to the family.

The family would also like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to Mountain Valley Hospice for their support, compassion, and care over the past year.

In accordance with her wishes, no funeral services will be held. A celebration of life will held at a later date to honor her memory.
