Stuart Lee Haddock

1958 - 2025

Mr. Stuart Lee Haddock, 66, of Winston Salem, NC, passed away on Wed, June 25, 2025, at the Kate B. Reynolds Hospice home after a brief illness.

He was born in Forsyth County on December 27, 1958.  He was the beloved son of Betty Howerton Haddock and the late Michael Haddock.  He was a graduate of NC School for the Deaf in Morganton, NC in 1979. He also attended Gallaudet University for the deaf in Washington, DC. He was employed by Allgood Printing Company and later at Fed Ex in distribution.  He also had multiple part-time jobs throughout his career.  Stuart enjoyed watching football, Nascar, going to car shows, and spending time with his family.  He will be remembered for his kind heart, sense of humor, love of motorcycles and choppers, contagious laugh and warm hugs.

He is survived by his loving mother, Betty Howerton Haddock, and siblings Steve (Jean) Haddock, Julia Beth (Mike) Nofsinger, and Sharon (Dan) Binkley, and four nieces, and two nephews.

The family will receive friends for the celebration of Stuart’s life on Saturday, July 26 from 1:00-2:30 at Pfafftown Christian Church located at 3323 Transou Rd in Pfafftown NC.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the NC School for the Deaf in Morganton, NC or to Pfafftown Christian Church.

    Stuart was a childhood friend of mine, along with his family. I share many fond memories of him, his siblings, and his parents. He stayed in touch with me throughout the years. I was shocked and saddened to hear of his death. May he rest in peace and joy.

    Mr. Stuart Haddock. Goodbye. Hard to say. Childhood friend. And a very special individual. Began in knollwood manor. Our families created a bond that made our live’s to what it is today.
