Gayle Hudgins Perrin

Gayle Hudgins Perrin passed away peacefully in Clemmons, NC on April 8, 2025. She was 81 years old.
Gayle was born in Nashville, TN on April 15, 1943 to her parents, Edna and John Henley. The eldest of 3 daughters, she grew up in Nashville and graduated from Hillsboro High School.
For many years, Gayle had a thriving career as a hair stylist in Nashville. In 1977, she pioneered and managed the Children’s Room at the Carearama Salon in Green Hills. It was the first childrens’ only salon in Nashville. In the 1990’s she owned and managed the Realities salon in Belle Meade.
The greatest joy of Gayle’s life were her three children, Scott, Vance, and Jennifer. In 1987, Gayle found lasting love with John Perrin, her devoted husband of 37 years.
Gayle is predeceased by her mother, Edna Henley; her father, John Henley; her sister, Sharon Comerford; and her grandson, Daniel Hudgins. She is survived by her husband, John Perrin; her sister, Joan Henley; her children, Scott Hudgins (Mary Foskett), Vance Hudgins (Sally), and Jennifer Christian (Robby); her grandchildren Tyler Hudgins (Jade), Henley Hudgins and Kloe Christian; and her great granddaughter, Emersyn.
Gayle will be deeply missed and remembered always by the many friends and family who loved her.
