Nancy Precious Hauser

Nancy Precious Hauser, 69, passed away peacefully in the presence of family on December 18, 2024 at Wake Forest Baptist Hospital in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. She had been a resident of Winston-Salem for the past four years and was formerly of Stuart, Florida and Poughkeepsie, New York. Born January 1, 1955, in Erie, Pa., Nancy was the daughter of the late John L. and Kathryn M. Precious. She was preceded in death by her loving husband Boyd A. Hauser and her sister Kathy J. Zammiello. She is survived by her brother Tom Precious Of Westminster, SC, brother Bill Precious of Clemmons, NC, and sister Marie Morris of Winston-Salem, NC. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews living in New York, Florida, South Carolina, and North Carolina. Nancy grew up and graduated from Roy C Ketcham High School in Wappinger Falls, New York in 1972. She was married to Boyd A. Hauser on November 12, 2005. Nancy began working as a Restaurant Server in her teens and for the next 45 years continued in the Restaurant business as a server, bartender and manager, beginning in New York and finishing in 2018 in Stuart, Florida where she had moved in 1982. Nancy loved to watch crime stories and comedy sitcoms such as Mike and Molly. She was a long time contributor to charities with a particular passion for young children and disabled veterans.
A Celebration of Life is being planned by her family at a future date.
