Brian David Scozzafava
1967 - 2024
Brian David Scozzafava, 57, went to be with the Lord on September 12th at Joan & Howard Woltz Hospice house in Dobson North Carolina. He was the loving husband of Cathleen Scozzafava (nee King) and shared 18 years of marriage. Brian was born in New York and the son of Grace (Heyns) and Anthony Scozzafava. He is survived by his wife, mother and his step father Jerry Heyns. His brothers Paul (Wendy his wife), Mark, and Troy and sister Tara. His children and step children, Kayla and Josh Scozzafava, Tiffany and Jay Gardner, Nicholas and Cody Schiller, and his grandchildren Matthew, Julianna, Taylor, Reina, Luca, and Lily. His nieces and nephews, Chase, Hannah, Samuel, Cameron, Mariah, and Jenna. Brian was preceded in death by his father Anthony Scozzafava and sister in law Sue Scozzafava. A private memorial service will be held in Florida.

I already miss you more than words can describe. I hope you’re with Christopher and grandpa Tony up there. I love you, I’ll see you again some day.
I miss you more then words can say I did and told you everything. I’m going to miss out movie days and going door dashing. I love you Brian.
Brian, thank you creating an open and welcoming home for all of your kid’s friends. I will always remember your generosity and the wonderful moments I had with you and your family. Glory to God for your time on earth and may you rest in peace.
