Nell B. Jones

Nell B. Jones lost her battle with Parkinsons Saturday evening March 2, 2024. She
is survived by her husband of close to 70 years, Jack K Jones; two daughters, Judy
Jones Keck (Mark); Janet Jones McKinney (Chris); a grand-daughter, Kelley M
Brandt (Kevin) and 5 week old great-grand-daughters, Peyton Louise Brandt and
Presley Marie Brandt.
Nell was born, raised and educated in Kentucky. She graduated from High School
at the age of 16. Graduated from Morehead State University. Her vocation was an
elementary school teacher.
Nell was dedicated to education and our church. We joined a small church which
has grown to one of Greensboro’s largest, Westover Church.
Nell served as PTA President for every Greensboro school her girls attended.
Besides active service for our local churches, Nell was President of Greensboro
Christian Womens club and then served as Director of local clubs plus 5 more
cities’ clubs.
Private family service will be held later.
