Michael William Goins
November 15, 1974 - June 11, 2022
Michael William Goins, 47, of Pilot Mountain passed away June 11, 2022. He is survived by his wife Sherry Goins and son Andrew Goins of the home. He is also survived by his sister Crystal Griffin (Reggie) and their three children Cory, Chance and Connor, his uncle and aunt Ricky and Penny Goins, cousins Tony Goins, Heather Goins (Mikey) and Beth Goins. Michael was preceded in death by his mother Geraldine Goins, grandparents Gaylon and Beulah Goins and uncle Gary Goins. Michael graduated from Mount Airy High School where he participated in wrestling as a sport. Hunting and fishing were his most favorite activities. There will be no memorial services held at this time.
My hope for you Willie is that you are dancing in the sky with Mama, Pa and Granny. I hope all the turmoil that you were facing each day is gone and things are so much easier for you. I also hope that you get to meet your dad. I never imagine that life would be so complicated for our family and I often think about what I could have done differently to alter the course of how life played out for us. We definitly had our ups and downs but what siblings didn’t right? Love you

Crystal my family and I send our deepest condolences to you Sherry and Andrew. The time that my family knew Mike he was a great person. We sympathize with your pain and pray that God will heal this for your family and remember Mike is better now.
I am praying for your family Michael,to give them strength during this time!! I have this hope you are walking hand in hand with our baby,who would’ve been 31 this year!
